So I'm on my first auto grow now and I'm only doing one plant but once this grow is finished I'd like to do 4 plants in my tent. I plan on using happy frog ocean forest as my soil base with 20% added perlite in 3 gallon smart pots. I've used some cal-mag with this grow but nothing else. My question is what other plant food or fertilizer might I want to try???

also instead off calmag i used a small pinch off epsom salt in 1 gallon of water it saves a fortune

Yeah I guess you're right on the outdoor maybe tasting some different I don't know I put a lot of amendments in my soil and cook my soil real good this year I took Extra Care in doing all that this year I used Jamaican bat guano Mexican bat guano Indonesian bat guano Peruvian seabird guano I used a lot of stuff man. I used everything that I would use inside outside I've made several kinds of tea along the way I just fed them there last actual food a week or so ago I tarped the entire cage I gave them 13 hours of light for 4 weeks and now they're on 12 hours of light I started tarping on July 15th with 13 hours a day and August 15th I switched over to 12 hours a day.
Plants that are outside the fence sitting in the tote and in a fiber pots those plants are just O natural growing along with the natural sunlight the buds on those are just starting their only about 2 weeks old right now big difference between the cage and O naturale[emoji106]

yeh when i said i only used water heres a pic from ages ago this only had water it never had any feed at all at this point both planted at same time big 1 is NL small 1 GSC

I know the feeling. I like to try and get a leg up in the beginning early on. I think the best way is earth worm castings. I even make like a quick tea so to speak. And spray with that. Then water with the remainder. Or you could just add them directly to the top of your medium. Don't take much.

second this. Worm poop is imo the best single thing you can use in addition to soil/vermiculite.

Thanks I appreciate that for real I really do... It's a freaking job I'll tell you but I love it man absolutely love it come on over and check out my grow at Grass city form Growtogrow outside grow in the outdoors grow section of that form. You can see how I started it out this year from putting the pots in the ground to where I'm at now I tried to document a lot of it I don't think I missed you much I may have left a couple Secrets out well they aren't really secret anyway somebody else already knew the answers I just didn't read about it yet seems like everything I do is trial and error LOL
I even grow some Autos too White widows from seedsman and a devil cream from sweet seeds as well as a
+ speed from sweet seeds.
