Currently have a 300watt led full spectrum light
I want to grow 4 plants so want to upgrade my light before next grow what would be a good light for small budget or should I just get another like I have and use both?

It's less about how many plants, and more about how much space you have to cover. I am happy with 2 mars hydro 300's (1 sq ft. at a foot height) and a Viparspectra 450. (2x1 sq. ft at 1 ft.) They are hung in a row and cover 4 ft by 3 ft area. Approximate cost of $260.00 US, plus hangers. They run at about 500-550 watts cumulatively.

running 3 lights gives me flexability, you can angle the outside pair, or run with 1,2,or 3 at a time.
