Pressed Time Machine today pulled 96 grams of super sticky gassy funky goodness. Buds were little loose but the stickiness made up for that got about 19% return very nice

Ive never gotten into extracts but Ive done a lot of reading on it. I just ordered my first press last night. I've heard that larfy buds are good for extract. Something about more surface area for the trichomes

For sure it definitely doesn't hurt for pressing I've had it go both ways sometime dense buds press good and sometimes loose press bad too every strain is different.

What did you get for a press? If you have any questions feel free to ask here's a good starting point this is from when I first stated pressing some thing may have changed but the basics and concept are the same

What's up stoners figured today would be a good day to start my DIY press thread. press is heating up now. i've done a few practices squeezes to get the hang out it. so far i've just been sticking close @Mañ'O'Green numbers for pressing until i get a feel for it. 90 micron, 4g cured bud, 210f, 3min press. rosin has been coming out pretty good for a beginner. i've changed temp a little either way +/- and came back to 210f while practicing. just been getting the hang of prepressing and not busting bags.

Here's a squeeze from last night same bud just a sample. came out good so today...

@GasPlease I press at 180f now I used to press at 210f still use 90 micron sometimes 120-160 but mostly 90

Yeah I'm thinking 180-190f and 120s for me. At least to get started.
