Hey Frank! 4 QB 288 in what, a 4x4 tent? should be plenty! Depends how hard you run them. the softer you run them, the closer you can keep them to the plants. if your going to grow a strain that could be tall, crank up the power! THAT is the advantage of QB boards, they are very flexible power wise.
Don't get me wrong, autocobs simplicity is there strong point and is a great product. And I've used them next to QBs also to fill in around a single board. But if you already have several QBs, use them!

As to their ability to grow great plants, I'd say they are about even. People talk spectrum but honestly, it's a moot point. All cobs and QB type boards have similar spectrum and no one is superior to another with in the same color temperature.

That's what I'm wondering... I'll have 3 more qb288's in the next month or so, so 4 of those and however many cobs that would match up with them... Is it really even necessary with 4 288s?
