Did I stunt them?

So to adjust the PPM do I just add more water to dilute? I used 8 gallons of distilled water and 4.4 of gased off tap water
Edit:
Found a video telling how to lower and raise PPM . I will dilute and find 200PPM
Yes you can dilute it. That is exactly what I do.
Add your cal/mag then add your base nutrients until you get to your desired PH. Then dilute until you get to where you want in EC/PPM.

I will try that. This may be stupid, but I put in the canna nutrients at recommended amounts and my PPM and EC were so high. I feel like I should be giving the water a third of the recommended. I’m not going to dump nutrients to just throw it away. Don’t know if that makes sense , but the girls are looking happy

Yes at this early stage you will need to use less. Try very low like 240-300ppm for a couple weeks and slowly increase it. Most of the guides from the nutrient companies are based on 0ppm R/O or distilled water and then the nute guide is for photoperiods. Autos generally need less overall. Some plants like more but I would try and stay at like 400-500 for most of the grow.

Got it. I will make adjustments as I go

Those guidelines on the bottle are more for photoperiod and even then they put way too much. They want you to run out and buy another bottle of nutes.

Ok let me try to give you a crash course. For autoflower seedlings you want to feed them 300-400 ppm every time you water. You also need to ph the solution with ph up or ph down.
Your runnoff ppm should be within 200 ppm of whatever your putting in.
If it is higher than what your putting in by 200 ppm then you need to feed more often or lower the dosage. That means you have salts building up in your coco.
If the ppm/EC is lower than what your putting in this could mean you need to up the dosage. :toke: :pighug::coffee2:

Edit i put more instead of less :face:Sorry about that. Doh
I had this really long well thought out message the first time I wrote this. But my phone refreshed and i had to start over. Some errors were made and i am sorry for the confusion.

Ok got a cheap Vivosun ph pen and EC. After calibration my Ph is 5.3 and PPM IS 401.
Spent a good part of the day learning DLI and hopefully after Mars hydro get back with me I may be able to set the DLI and keep moving forward

Thanks for all you help

Get that pH to 5.8-6.2 and your plants will be happy. Don't try to flush the whole pot, just give the correct nutrients and pH the next time you water.

Cheap pH pens are fine, they just require calibration often. Do you have calibration fluid and storage fluid? I know it probably seems like you have having to buy more and more stuff right now. Some will make a bigger difference than others. Having a calibrated pH meter is invaluable as pH will be one of the most important things trying to grow in coco.

Yeah it’s buy buy buy right now😂 that’s ok. Next is reverse osmosis. I didn’t think of storing the different salutations. I will remember that thank you
