If you're running just above 60F days 50 degree nights should be just fine, according to my research, and yes, it's probably where the purple is coming from, a 600w HID would add more illumination and solve your heating problem at the same time and as far as power costs, they're far more efficient than a 1000w, wouldn't jack up your bill much (I realize you may not have the 150.00 or so it costs to get a ballast, bulb and reflector kit) we were able to get by without getting a heater ourselves, I now turn off the intake fan at nightitme so as not to intake cold air when there's no light on to warm the air up and temps are up to about 65F during the day and 55F during the dark period.

The real issue isn't the cash. I was going to do that for the winter, however I don't want to switch up during the grow. The main reason I can't add now though is I don't have enough power. Always the damn power problem. Could run a water chiller for the rez in summer and an a.c unit, but not enough power.

okay here are some pics from the other day 12/11/13 The second one is my favorite.

Here are pics from today, Day 80 from seed. started the chop on the right side of table. took the bigger cola's so some more light gets down below to lower buds.
There is a nice blend of trichomes, mostly clear to cloudy with a few ambers in there. I noticed something I have never seen before.....there is purple spreading up into some, very few, trichome stems. Like the purple is bleeding into them.
