Do these Purple Punch autos need trimming?

You really don't have much of a canopy. I would be selective a pluck some and tuck others. Sometimes I have done heavy defoliation and sometimes not. I just keep trying different amounts and it does not seem like the plants care one way or there other. It is your choice take the red or blue pill.
