Grow Mediums Easy to Go system with tray?

Has any one tried the Easy to Go system with a tray. I would think that it would be the same concept as the Ebb and Flow. I have three Auto Mazars in 1/2 gallon pots that are in their fourth week. I know that they are going to require more watering than I can handle, so I have ordered the Easy to Go and a tray. Being in small pots, will that be too much water? Thanks for your response.

Cool! Do a thread on them so we can all see how they work out. I had considered the tray system for my greenhouse.

I have done that with a 70*70 cm tray and pots in different sizes.
It worked fine as long as it was not raining, it was outdoors.
I did take the plants out of the tray to let them dry out from timt to time but that was mostly because the tray sometimes got flooded by rain.

Thanks Rilla! I am planning on having them in a tent so, hopefully, I will not have the same problem, although, I was thinking it might not be a bad idea to have them completely dry occasionally.

The Easy 2 Go system was not delivered in time for me to implement this weekend, so I bought a temporary tray to test the plants. I poured enough water/nutes in to reach about 1/4" above the bottom of the pots. I have had to refill it twice, so everything seems to be fine. How deep does the autovalve fill a normal tray? I will update when the system is installed. Thanks.

The autovalve fills the tray to about an inch deep.
