Gday Organo's ... I have noticed that some methods for making FPJ / FJE call for water and some just the material & sugar. Some call for a weight to compress the material for 24hrs, then remove. some say to stir once a day, some say leave alone. differing opinions on methods, time and dilution rates..confusing lol, but loving this learning. Once I decide on the method I will trial this flowering FPJ with 3 types of weed flower buds. I will take the top 3 inches off the weeds, should I concentrate on the unopened buds or are open flowers ok to use too ?
I would appreciate your opinions please @Eyes on Fire @A4 and anyone else

Vas D, I will have to defer to someone that has more experience in this than myself. I have made several enzyme teas but I haven't dealt with the FPJ enough to give an opinion. I am sure, the master of extracts....the tycoon of teas.....the majesty of mush, King EoF will stop by in a bit to weigh in on this predicament you have found yourself in.

well with the simple explanation of some water(or soil and dung or similar materials) sugar and material is essentially the same as a soil.sugar is the mainstay of simple and basic fermentation's man.so with that in mind its pretty simple once you decide which way you want to brew it.Imo id stir it and mash it with a stick or something every cpl days er three depending how long you'll brew it.Ive done things but as for use in a tea,not stored so there are things to consider imo.with in reference to the flowers imo you'll totally want to wait till there in a more mature phase of growth imho just due to the fact unless youve researched extensively the enzymes you'll be harvesting in some depth id go with maturing flowers over premature flowers unless otherwise stated cuz there are potent enzymes that could be a serious issue.some younger flowers can offer a very potent cocktail of various pre sorted enzymes and acids you dont want to use so imo youll want to go with the more mature flowers and stir it or introduce some sir each day atleast to increase the healthy feeding and fermenting. thats my take on it anywho.

also on the flowers.if you decide to read more you'll see that a lot of premature flowers are also beneficial acids and so forth but those tend to be used a little less but are used.so there is the debate in forum about how ppl do things with varying results.its going to base itself down to the medium or Soil or medium you'll be using dude really.will it need them, acids?will it be able to deal with the acids if its all youve got?many things to consider.like Ive always siad my friend it all is based around your soil and root structure and what it can do for you and what you can add to and built it to work for you.ya know yo?!LOL!

just think of them like a looong brewing tea bag kinda.kept under for much of the day and stirring air and treating them like little sponges with that stick or press,n that's what helps leach it all out but time and stepping.but ya know all that man.glad I could help.lol!

Very informative thread, I guess this can be done/used inside as long as you can pick up the right flowers? is TLO and such an imperative or some light mix/bottled nutes regiment ladies could use it as a boost ?
I am leaning towards experimentation also I don't have space to cook TLO in my appartment I am all for the "as close as I can!"

I had a couple jars that I made last summer( stored in a cool dark place) and used it on this grow.

One jar was made using fruit like watermelon, pineapple, carrots and a few other fruits I cant remember all what ,( I should write this shit down) and organic brown sugar and fermented that for a week and then jarred what I didn't use on that last grow.

Also the rhubarb, comfrey and fireweed brew made the same way.

I added about a tablespoon of the brew to my gallon tea and bubbled for a day, and I have to tell you the sweet flavors I am getting from the cured smoke is awesome, friends love it.

I thought after a week or two tops... if that isnt stored in cool place and whipped spinned air etc etc.. it breakdown and you are left with a nasty slime with negative fungus. .and a smell of [emoji90] x 25 negative. .

Mine smelled like a mellow wine.

It did have a bit of sediment at the bottom was not slimy at all.
