Fimming vs Topping...whats the real diff?

So what's the real difference? Why one over the other? I because I'm at 3 wks and it's time to decide what to do. Thanks

Ya that is where the abbreviation started! If you try to pinch the top when you top instead of using scissors then tossup if you wind up topping of FIM’ing unless you have practice!
