New Grower First Grow Ever (NY)

Noticed that the bottom leaves are yellowing pretty badly on the second plant. Will nutrients correct this, or are those leaves beyond repair? Thanks!

Did you find out why the yellow? overfertilization?
 
Plan on removing the dead and crispy leaves only. What do you guys recommend is the safest way to do this? I know to do one leaf at a time (per day I guess) so I don’t stress the plant too much. Thanks for any and all insight!

u can do a good half dozen or so leavez at one time, np...jus be sure to give the plant a couple dayz in between snippingz ;) ppp
