Unless I hear different, I'm just gonna let them run until the trichomes are ready, for me, just slight amber. Here's a better picture of foxtailing.

It does usually start with new pistils shooting out I think.

Iirc too much nitrogen in late flower can cause foxtailing. At 22 inches and 85 F it shouldn't be light or heat I think.
If it is foxtailing, I can't figure one stressor I've injected.I've looked this up several times and I do not find one shred of science to support this claim. Stress.... maybe, but mostly it is genetic and there isn't anything you can do to prevent it. I've found no proof N has anything to do with it. And I have grown maybe 40 strains so far with Megacrop start to finish I've had one plant foxtail. From what I have read it is most common in Sativa/Indica hybrids that are 50/50 or higher in Sativa. I've not confirmed this but it makes more sense than blaming N.

Pretty stout foxtailing there!I've had two sativa's foxtail. There weren't any issues with either and the tails were just as good as the rest of the plant. Both strains had Panama in them.
Pics or it didn’t happen lmao!!!Nice!
Conditions: 45% and 78*F!
LOL! I'd vape the hell outta that!
