Hi everyone! This is my second attempt at growing. (The first one I realized I was over watering and ruined it) she just popped out of the soil yesterday afternoon. It took just over 2 days. I’m wondering what’s the deal with that leaf being so bent. I feel like it’s so early on I couldn’t have done anything too wrong yet but I wanted some experienced opinions. Really trying to make this a successful one. So, is this just a thing that happened or is this concerning? Too soon to tell, maybe?

Thanks!

The first leaves nearly always look ugly. Give them a break (time), the plants were just born. Otherwise, the first set(s) of leaves are largely irrelevant. Soon enough they will be shaded by much larger and better formed ones. They will usually shrivel up on their own and if not you'll be plucking them soon enough as the plant grows.

Now is a critical time. Don't mess with such young plants - let them get established, put out roots. Presuming your pot is large enough and started out saturated/charged with diluted feed, you very well may not need to water/feed for well over a week/weeks. Go by weight of the pots.
