Forum is paid up for another month. Donations have really slowed to a crawl here guys, we're going to have to start selling banner ads if we can't keep donations up consistently. Open to ideas here too, but whatever we don't come up with comes out of my own pocket!

What’s the problem with selling banners?

Maybe do a subscription instead of donations? That would keep it consistent

If the forum needs donations, ask for it! Send out emails. Send out direct messages. Call all cultivators with the tag.
Making a post on this forum thread is proactive, but being more proactive by the above means will draw more attention to the matter at hand......... The need for more donations!

I've been on this forum a little over 5 years now and every time I knew of the need for donations, I donated! I'm just willing to bet there are more people of like mind, that if they knew there was a need, then they would donate.


Absolutely nothing wrong with selling banners! I sold banners 20 years ago on forums.

I'd also subscribe if it were an option, though I understand if setting that up is more trouble than it's worth.

I’d opt for annual subscriptions. A tiered approach with more benefits for those in the higher (yes, lol) tiers.

No. It's pretty much a credit card payment directly to Hobbes. The old way used to list everybody
