Sure…. But in this case…. Only one of the ways have people scrambling to fix their issues. I wouldn’t have mentioned it to the folks that follow this thread, if the site wasn’t filthy with low germination rates and people looking for ways to fix the torn root hair issue.

Yup definitely some very good points I was just be a smart ass. We all have a method to our madness and as long as it works for you go for it I tried reping you for the lengthy write up but couldn’t yet

Ah, you know I meant it in the nicest possible way with a smile and harrumph of appreciation, because, well you know, this is AFN, possibly the most civilized growing site on the whole interwebby thing.

I for one appreciate your input, its a method that works for you and may others, and there are many other methods that work too, you know cos "there are many ways to skin a cat"

That’s the problem….. many folks’ cat isnt getting skinned. There’s been tons of people lately complaining about low germination rates. Many of those same have been convinced the paper towel method is not good because it’s damaging the root. Their problem, IN MY OPINION, is their insistence on letting the root get extra long. Except, this allows the hairs to sprout into the towel. The very tip of the root is smooth. No hairs. Plant it then.

Look, I’m not saying mine is the only way. I wrote this in an effort to help educate anyone that wants the knowledge. It’s sorta the reason I put it within my own thread instead of giving it its own. Take the knowledge, or leave it…. Your choice.

Its all good, information, methods, trials and errors, personally I will try any method and see how it works out, and its always good to hear how well others cats get skinned....

Your way seems to produce excellent results, and deserves to be printed, read and used imho,, as are many others.
