Indoor Frank does it again….

The clip-on fan blowing on the Mars light external power supply: Is that really needed, the power supply aluminum casing runs that hot? It should be engineered to work well even in hot tents, on top of hot lights, with poor ventilation around it, etc. Or do you presume the power supply will last longer by making it run cooler?

Needed? No…. But it won’t hurt to dissipate the heat…. Cool electronics are happy electronics, in my experience. I also blow a fan across the surface of the LEDs for much the same reason…
