Meanwhile, I'm washing some clay pebbles for the bottom layer in the autopots (enough to cover 30% of the airdome).
I have PH'd them down to 6.0 is this about right?

Well the post has just arrived with some goodies I ordered... A New V20 (20L per min) Air pump, some silicone tube and a water pump to stir the water in the res.
E-Bay hits the spot again! Just waiting for a few small bits (and the last 2 girls to pop) and we are complete and ready to plant up to the pots and get underway
