I tore a part of a cotyledon, but my issue is I noticed a whitish covering on the coteyldons of two seedlings and their stems. Is this a fungus? Should I start these pots over? I think the last two are okay

They look fine to me. Let them be. At this point as long as they don't flop over they can look a little weird. They are just getting going and will be throwing a couple leaves and then mostly roots. Imagine an old guy just waking up and not having coffee yet....

@Hog MaGundy The plants look fine. The soil does look a bit wet. Maintain the RH in the space 60% - 70%. Then give them a healthy dose of LITFA.

Damping off happens when the soil is too wet, the temperature too high, the RH too high and lack of fresh air. I see it most often when peeps use a plastic cup for a humidity dome. Torturer chambers for for plants and nurvana for fungus.

Have fun. It is a learning adventure we are on growing a plant indoors.:pass:

Thanks! @DDubs said the same thing about the soil. Humidity is staying in range, maybe getting a little high. But tomorrow i get an ink bird controller which should help that.
