If you want to improve your germination rate, allow the seeds to have at least 5-6 weeks on the plant to develop and mature, and then dry them well before storing for 8-12 weeks, this will dramatically improve the germination rates, as the seeds generally try to avoid sprouting right away (not always, but many plants do this)
