Well you know this is a consumable product. It is not like the glass jars of the past. Yes they have/had a welding problem between the bag and the zipper. Lots of zip-close bags do and I have learned to automatically pinch the zipper material and not the bag alone. Actually I don't use the zipper as much as I heat seal the bags. If I am careful I can do it three times above the zipper. When I get to the zipper I just seal below it. I can probably us a bag 10 or more times before it gets too small to be useful for curing.

They should last more. I've had NO problems with the half ounce bags and they got a workout. It's a quality control problem on that run.

These things are legit imo. I’ve bought a ton of expensive zip lock brand baggies that fail too. Everyone has lemons.

more With honey than vinegar and all that, good to let the community know but I’d send a pm and try to get that straightened out rather than flame on.

I am just using the 1/4 pound and 1 oz bags. The 1 oz are just for friends and family and when I process rosin I usually press 2 oz so i only open the 1/4 pounder twice.

If the friends and family have a problem with the free awesome bags I give them By the way they are cheaper than the jars I never got back either

Agreed. The small bags are excellent and have not been returned to me but the 1/4# are more of 'when' rather than an 'if' on the durability of the ziploc enclosure.

I love them but my experience is they don't last more than a month in regards to the larger bags.

So the 1oz and below hold up fine and the 1/4lb and up break away? I've only bought a few of the ounce and 1/2oz bags to try out. Obviously I have very small harvest compared to you guys but I was curious about using a bigger bag for easier loading.

On another note, @Grove Bags , and anyone else in here - What do you guys recommend to heat seal the smaller bags? Mine will be sitting for quite a while. It's a dark, cool, and dry area but I'd like to seal them as best possible. Are the small hand held sealers enough?

These bags are bad ass! The canna in the little bags cured out fantastic. The stuff from Nov are still perfect.

I understand and like the concept, but I keep all my seeds in the fridge in mylar foil bags and some have been open and closed 100 times, I also buy food at the store where the bag works one time or less. I am not saying that I will not try especially since I have heat sealer but I would definitely be looking for a refund if I had a batch of defective ones.

If you are sure it's gonna be long term, just iron under a thin sheet or cloth with the iron on high. Works perfect but does take a little bit.

Well..................another damn half-pound bag failure. No more than 7 times opening!
Every single half pound bag has failed!
That batch was pure crap!

I sure hope you guys found out what the hell wasn't right during this run. Your QA program sure needs attention!

Was your order a full case or a build your own pack? Also please DM us the number of failed bags and sizes so we can send out replacements. We stand behind all of our products. I can assure you are QC is on top of all reported issues and it sounds like your bags came from the same case that might have been having the issues.
