Indoor Growing Scrog

6 is still a lot for a 2x4. You might consider the sog or normal scrog. I can't remember how many plants 420 gets in a 2x4 but I can't imagine you get more than 3 plants if doing the full 420auto method.
Correct Im doing more of a hybrid of 420method and a normal sog/scrog which is why im going to set the net down a little bit later into the stretch. I think this way I can get the best of both worlds without needing to veg for any longer.

Never thought about the extra weight from the roots. Had a saggy lid problem. It was pinching the outlet hose a little and pulling the middle canopy down. Drilled holes on each side and ran a piece of pvc through for support.

hey! new grower here, i'm really interested in growing using 420autoflower's method, but as of now, i only could scrub as much info out of the thread as i can.. i see most of you building your own drip fertigation system and using grodan grow blocks and coat hangers but is there some useful compiled info that i can read or is it a "read the thread, and you'll get it" type of thing?
best regards!!

There isn't a guide. Almost all the info needed is in the thread. You can use the search to search this thread for specific info. Also you can ask any questions you have and we can help. I posted a ton of stuff I've grabbed but it's not a guide.

Heavy work on that back right corner. Heavy defol all around. I shouldve gotten to that back corner sooner. Also worried about the center catching up. Ive got things mostly in place and will be letting everything grow vertical hopefully. Next few days are big planning on taking it easy on her.

Baby Dutch Passion Lemon Kix. 1.2 EC, 10 mins fertigation every 3 hours for the moment.
Will adjust schedule to once an hour for 10 mins in a couple of weeks, minus 4 hours of dry back
overnight. 18-6 light schedule.

We'll see how only one 6" Grodan cube works out for me. 😇

Try a Grodan Big Mama 8 inch. Only a little larger than a six inch but a full two gallons volume. No stacking needed, allows huge root growth from the beginning. Very stable never top heavy. Roots are never confined. Can also stack two for growing huge photos outside. with drip and upper side stem tie-outs support. Cheers.

Well, here's my Blackstrap progress

I got zero stretch, and everything is really tight. As this is my first non-soil grow I attribute it to myself.

Not a failure, but it is smaller than my soil grows. I have other rockwool plants growing, topped, not scrog, and they are doing well enough that I see the potential here.

I'm going to continue to experiment with this media and learn its ways.

Thank you to everyone who has advised me and gotten me this far.
