Start flushing ... it's not a myth. Just use plain water to flush for the rest of it's life flushing improves taste and harshness . Dont flush and you won't get white ash . If your ash is white you did it right if your ash is black your shit is wack.

What do you base this opinion on? The obviously pure and clean product in a Marlboro with it's clean white ash? Coal burns with white ash too, should we smoke coal? There is NO mechanism in plant biology to exude the nutrients that a plant has ALREADY USED to build it's structure. Explain to us how starving a growing plant will make it better. Show some science to back your fiction up.

I don't flush....I get white ash after a proper cure. I believe the black ash has something to do with the cure not being complete yet. Perhaps the presence of chlorophyll that hasn't broken down properly (thats just a theory of mine).

I usually flush, lately I have been using AN final finish. I make no claims that AN's crap actually does anything, but blind taste test done separately with my friends and family have always picked the joint that has been flushed. I roll 2 joints, one that I flush the plant and 1 that I didn't flush. They smoke half of one joint and half the other and do a blind pick of their favorite.

When I run the tests I make sure both plants are cut, dried, and cured at the same time. I haven't tested a flush with AN's final finish vs just plain water to see if anyone can tell the difference. It was just cheap at the time and I said wtf and bought it.

Best to just test it out yourself. If you and your friends cant tell the difference , then why bother. The day that my friends fail the test is the day I stop flushing.

I'd rather not use nutrients so I don't have to smoke nutrients. I use organic matter so I don't starve them but I also don't feed them chemicals ever . And cigarette ash is grey not white.
