I run 8 4000k cobs (3-2-3 setup) in a 4x4x8 tent (480 watts at the wall). Working very well. When I readjust it I am going to do three bars with the drivers outside the tent. Will give me more flexibility to adjust the cobs. I was under the impression you could go farther from the first cob you just had to use a bigger gauge wire.

Biggest problem is getting the wire to fit the cob holder. I thought max was 18ga for the holders. Its what i used.

I am running 3k and even so it pulls a pretty good response out of the seedlings. 17 days here.
