HolidayBudContest!

Out of curiosity. When should someone be wearing these protective glasses. I had some cheap green tinted ones a few years back when I had a viparspectra light, which was very purple in colour.
Now I have upgraded to a Telos Pro 10, which is not at all purple, intact mostly white with two red panels.

Should I still be needing the protective glasses i have or am I ok. Or should I really upgrade?

I only have a 1m x 1m x 2m tent so I'm not in there for hours working. But I do really like having eyes that work lol. What should I do...... if I don't win

with modern mostly white grow lighting, protection is definitely needed! Method Seven also makes models for use in "burple" lighting. My Diablo light is currently up high enough that I can see the LEDs directly.....not good for your eyes! I've been wearing these as I got a pair with my light, and they make working in the growroom so much nicer, no eye strain.

They are a bit pricey, but they are good quality. I recommend them, I don't come out of a tent with my eyes dazzled anymore!
