How many regs in one 3 gal pot? 2 gal?

Going to start my second grow soon and space is at a premium in my 2x2x4 tent but I want to grow regular autoflowers. How many do you think I can fit into a 3 gal pot? How about a 2 gal? I plan on getting rid of any males which is why I want to take this approach.

1 plant per gallon should be okay. Just know that if u get two or three females per pot, ur gonna have to do a lot of LST.

For the size of the tent I would recommend max two maybe three plants and I would go for 1 gallon pots instead.
