Is this Epsom salts okay to use?

Bought this today and just want to know how much to use?
and is this particular Epsom salts okay to use?
plan on using this instead of cal mag for a magneese def

It's fine for the magnesium. You may need to find and add a source of calcium. 1 to 2 teaspoons per gallon, every other week if needed I've used every week too. I'd back off mid flower and not use after. Epsom is magnesium sulfate. A high sulfer load can make things smell a little...well...rotton. cal/mg is just more simple!
 
Thank you @Arthur i have cal mag and have been using it and maybe I’m using it wrong or something but it seems every plant that I use cal mag on it wants to nutrient lock out on me. But anyways thank you for taking the time to help out!

yup, that'z the stuff :thumbsup: u can either mix it in water, at ruffly 1 tspn per gal, or topdress, also 1 tspn ;) ppp
