Its a Spanish rice dish that usually includes rice, saffron, chicken/seafood, and some veggies, and cooked in a shallow pan. If done right the bottom layer gets a bit crispy and delicious.

You got me at rice! We Asians don't mess around when it comes to rice. Staple food for thousands of years my dear growbro!
Now whose leg do I have to hump? I mean who do I need to impress for some paella round here? LOL
And we are all better for it...the Asians make some of my favorite foods...all around.

The two Boxes on the left rows look similar to what I'm using......
....I always make extra..great for breakfast..paella ding..microwave up well...and IMO..even better chilled for packed lunches.
Basically Spanish Stew @Equatorial ..but rice based as opposed to potato based..cheap local produce..including the saffron....
