Are Quantum Boards the best solution for under 1k? Or like 5 cobs?

Horticulture lighting group has a 600w QB288 V2 R for 739

Growers lights has the same thing for 730

If these would be good for a 5x5 tent, does either have better customer service or anything I need to know about?

I run cobs, if I was building today, I'd build essentially what your buying. 4 288 r-spec boards on an hlg driver. Don't know about BEST... different situations bring different needs... uneven canopy heights? Single cobs are your thing.

Hard to go wrong with either type light. I have 6 Autocobs and two Spider Farms SF 1000 quantum boards that I recently bought..

I've got 6 COB's, so far so good. I about a 4x4 area. QB's are nice . If I ever change over Id want the 4 boards separate to deal with diff plant heights like @Arthur mentioned.
If you go with those HLG lights I'm sure you'll be very happy with them .
