My wife and I are thinking about getting a ball python and couple other species. She really wants a leucistic hognose because they're "the drama queens of the snake world" and "the cutest snakes ever".
I wouldn't mind getting the ball python I encountered at a local reptile expo, That would look at you when you spoke like it understood you... But I'm not certain of the breeder's standards. Don't want to get a snake and have it wind up being a roller and dieing early like the spider morphs do.
