Every few years, they come up in our lawn. :biggrin:
 
Not until moving up here did I hear of these growing in lawns. New burn scars in the mountains is where I know to get them. That is sweet!
We lived where we are for years without seeing these in the lawn. Either we didn't notice them (unlikely given my interest), or they have only started fruiting about 8 years ago, almost twenty years after we built this place. I've seen maybe three fruitings since the first one. They don't come up every year.

Perfect for me, I only need one nice feed per season. Too many of these little gems can be a bad idea. :biggrin:
 
Well...in the dog house again.....why are wives so hard to live with... extra hour checking out friends kids vr headset ( freaking awesome, I want one) and my butt might have well killed kids walking off a schoolbus while munching on deep fried puppies..
