I was hitching from Seattle to New Orleans in 74.. got a ride in New Mexico in a bug just before sunset.. the alternator wasn't charging, so the head lamps were pitiful.. so the guy gets right up on the bumper of a semi.. went like that for a good 60 or 70 miles till they pulled off the road.. another one of those "how did i survive that" experience :rofl:

Oh sheesh..another bug hitching story.. coming up the west coast from San Diego to Seattle with a rabbit in a cage, 1970.. and a guy in a bug stops and me n da wabbit get in the car.. then i notice this big azz German Shepard sitting up all of a sudden in the back seat :doh: I putz the wabbit that was in a cage on the floor on top of me feet... another one of those "how did the wabbit survive :rofl:

I'll shut up now :toke:
Almost all of my wv stories involve picking them up and carrying them somewhere else :crying:
