I was hitching from Seattle to New Orleans in 74.. got a ride in New Mexico in a bug just before sunset.. the alternator wasn't charging, so the head lamps were pitiful.. so the guy gets right up on the bumper of a semi.. went like that for a good 60 or 70 miles till they pulled off the road.. another one of those "how did i survive that" experience

Oh sheesh..another bug hitching story.. coming up the west coast from San Diego to Seattle with a rabbit in a cage, 1970.. and a guy in a bug stops and me n da wabbit get in the car.. then i notice this big azz German Shepard sitting up all of a sudden in the back seat I putz the wabbit that was in a cage on the floor on top of me feet... another one of those "how did the wabbit survive

I'll shut up now

Almost all of my wv stories involve picking them up and carrying them somewhere else
