I noticed a pretty big difference with 73s and how long the coils on the seahorse lasted

Hmmm…. Maybe you got one of the super oily strains first time. That would be a tough one….

Could be....idk I've only pressed a few times and wasn't liking the yields so it made me quit.....I know my Dab press isn't a nug smasher but it had great ratings and I wasn't pressing long enough....like 30sec to 90 sec max at 210°f

My favorite Enail is the G-pen Hyer.

To be completely honest I think your biggest issue is the press it is only 2 ton non hydraulic.. I don't think you can get the pressure you need for a good press or if you do it will take some dialing in with the adjuster nut.. I am not a fan of those cam over presses... You don't need a nugsmasher or anything fancy just something with hydraulic power most are a minimum of 4 ton and that will do a great job my 12 ton is over kill

You for sure want to go longer than that…. I go for 240 seconds plus about a minute pre heat….at 190f
