They HAVE to do this cause people try to sue doctors all the time for someone dying or whatever and these notes along with dates really come in handy. I'm not pulling this stuff outta my ass just telling you what I see from my father in law. My wife works for him so hear them all day on the phones and in the office.I've always been leery about what I reveal to my doctors. At my last physical my doctor asked the usual questions about smoking, alcohol, drugs. I didn't tell her about how much THC I ingest on a daily basis. My intake increased when I switched from smoking bud to vaping bud, and from vaping bud to dabs. Smoke irritates my airways (RAD, reactive airways disease). I don't want "pothead" in my medical record for my other doctors to see. A lot of doctors look down on weed and it could affect their treatment decisions.
