I rarely need a cold plate. Wonder if that's our environmental differences When I do, I just throw a frying pan on the freezer and just use the bottom to put the parchment on to scrape

You're ready to rock then Scissors, container and any dab tool are the only other things you need

I use one every time unless I’m collecting a strain that I know is too oily.

Turns almost everything I press into flakes that fly everywhere. I'll only use it if I have something so oily that it only scrapes up streaks. But 90% of most strains I've pressed picks up fine for me with the parchment just laid on a glass table at room temp
