I’ve never found bugs in a promix bale that didn’t have a hole in it somewhere. Even the red Walmart ones. I go over them well before I buy them, making sure there are no holes, and then wipe them with alcohol wipes before putting them in the car.

I think the bugs that have gotten into my grow dungeon either came in on my clothes from outdoors, or got sucked in with the intake air from the basement. I haven't gotten around to improving my supply air by running it through a furnace filter (it's on the list). I get my coco in 5k bales from eBay, and perlite delivered free from Home Despot, so the bugs can't be from there. I take my outdoor shoes off now before I service the girlz.
