We've got black squirrels in specific areas of NJ. Princeton has a ton of them. 1st place I ever saw them was Brooklyn
Ya i tripped out first time i went to michigan and saw red and black squirrels!

We only get generic brown squirrels here! No grey/black/or red squirrels! :shrug::rofl:
I've caused the demise of six or seven squirrels this year. I think my wife's count is higher. Since spending $2500 to repair damage they did to my truck and much $$ damage to outbuildings and other vehicles, we have a strong rodent policy in place.

I've "relocated" dozens of those little tree rats. Pain in the ass rodents

I used to actually relocate them. But someone has been dropping captured prairie dogs 1/4 mile from my house and they're slowly migrating in my direction. So having empathy for the people near my dropoff spots, I decided on more permanent actions.
