Then transplant and switch the lighting and flower from there? Reg photo seedsInternet tells me they'll sex under 18 hours of light on their own after a month or so

True, had I not already owned it, I would not have bought it. OTOH, if someone owns a digital camera, adding a tripod and macro rail can be done cheaply. You can even get tripod supports for smart phones or those digital microscope devices. Bottom line is that at the magnifications involved in trich checking, a firm support of whatever you use helps a lot. Decent tripods can be had in the used junk stores for less than $20.I would assume most people dont have $1,000+ to spend on trichome scoping equipment!
