@FarmerJake This is the closest I could find, there are over 3000 different leaf beetles and they do eat leaves!

Syzigium leaf beetle

This little guy turned up today in the middle of winter on our outside wall immediately after huge winds tore our lilly-pilly tree down. So they might have a relationship with those trees and they are around even in winter... all good info. Approximately 8mm long.

Green Leaf beetle

About 8mm long. Well rounded lime green all over, very glossy but with fine lines of pitting on elytra. Cream/white tarsi.

50 minutes North.,. but it is really popular with couples from here for long weekends.. cheap food drink and 24 hour entertainment....

So I'm noticing the new growth on the lilac diesel is growing funky leaves too. I'm willing to let it go, but in your guys experience do these deformed plants still pack on weight? Or should I expect a weak harvest and maybe I should plant another seed?

Not a good look for Ethos IMO for the first seed out of a $60 pack of 3 seeds to be this deformed. I dont know much about breeding so maybe im being too critical (if I am let me know just havent seen this before)

Think it will grow out of it I’ve only have had a couple and they grew out just fine

Right on guys! Just didn't wanna get 6 weeks in and realize I have a dud. Other than it looking weird it's growing pretty damn fast. It's only on day 10.

I do trim it every week or so, or by now I'd surely have to tuck in my belt, like the dwarves in LOTR.

Mine gets caught in stuff all the time.
When I add my hair balm and use my heated brush to straighten it, it's really long.
It's always entertaining when toddlers in their mom's shopping cart holler out Santa! Santa!
The oddest, sometimes akward, encounters I see pretty often is young women want to touch my beard. Sometimes it's their expressions is where the awkwardness comes in. You can tell there's definitely something more to their interests other than touching a beard.

I have won a couple of Halloween costume contests with my beard. The little ASU student I was "dating" had an idea to capitalize on it. She temporarily dyed my beard that dingy orange and acquired a knockoff of his signature hat and I went to the Halloween party at ASU as Billy Gibbons of ZZTOP. I busted out my big leather duster to finish off the effect.
That was one extremely crazy party! It was held at the mansion of the guy that we called Porno Rob. He was the owner and starter of the porn site, FTV............First Time Videos. I met him in his Bugatti Veyron at the weekly car show across the highway from the Indian casino in Scottsdale. That Dude was filthy rich, figuratively and literally.
He hired a live band and during breaks they would do karaoke. Guess whose ass got it drawn up with that little stinker of a girl got a ZZTOP song in the queue ? I sang Sharp Dressed Man with her dancing all around me. After that was over I dared her to do the same with Tube Snake Boogie!

We left before she had a chance.
