If you and your new lady are cool with the age difference, that’s all that matters. Letting other people get into your heads about it, will certainly tarnish your new relationship a bit.

I guess Im more nervous because of the age difference. I dont want her parents to see me like a child. The woman is older than me by a bit........

My daughter married a guy 10 years younger then herself. A massive age difference can become a prob in later years. But not always.
