I actually have a jail story.

The reason I was there is irrelevant.

We were all in the typical group cell while the process of bonding you out is in process... that or if you're a DUI arrest..

Anyway it was like 1am by the time I was in the holding pen. There was a TV caged off in a cell out of our reach but within our sight.

It was tuned to a channel showing Martha Stewart videos of some sort.

I personally believe I had, at that point, experienced textbook "cruel and unusual punishment."
