I use the 12 and never had an issue them lasting less than 3 years. The fine print on Amazon says the 16 is a 350 CFM , and they fail to say that the 12 can handle the same. The difference between them is the 16 has more carbon as the 12 has 3.9 lbs, and the 16, 5.2 lbs.
