I never said I think the buds absorb light and I only defoliate a little bit so your preaching to the choir there home skillet I just stating my experiences

I know what u mean i get them too but its usually cuz those are buds that popped up much later then the upper buds! Snipping them off instead of leaving them just helps upper stuff mature better anyways! Or if enough of them i harvest upper half and leave rest couple more weeks!
