Nope. Silica is an additive. Not required at all. But it's good shit, this is just the one I've liked the best so far. I haven't tried the raw one though. But the tps one is ass

I buy pretty much all my nute stuff from that place anymore. Never had an issue and they run some kick ass sales all the time. Ordered this like Monday/Tuesday. Here's the drippers I got with it. Was $78.80 for the silica and 20 drippers shipped

I don't use it but I use RAW silica I have thought about adding drip clean

I use the drip clean because I don't run to 20% run off. I pretty much just get a tiny bit of run off from the plant that drinks the most. But a small bottle lasts a while. It's only 1.5ml for 4 gallons

OK that makes sense I'm not going to fudge with it I get plenty of runoff
