Runoff don’t matter unless you run your pump til rez is empty u are leaving some liquid in the lines til they are pressurized again! U need drip clean for sure!

Some of that liquid will run back down into rez but def plenty of places the liquid just sits idle til next feed! Thats why blumats sell these purge doohickeys that allow u to feed nutes and then with quick release bulkheads u can swap lines over to a plain water reservoir and then purge those nutes out the line til its plain water coming out! That way can feed organic nutes without anything spoiling in the lines!
