I have seen similar in the past I am making assumptions based on that just an FYI. Typically a timer for a light, moisture meter hooked to a watering system, then a humidifier hooked to a meter. All programed to run within your parameters running off one controller. You can build a small one relatively cheaply. When they get bigger that is when you get crazy expensive.

There used to be a guy in DIY that messed with controls and he did micro grows in CPU computer cases. He had all kinds of things he did similar to this. Because I am old and smoke way to much pot I am not able to remember.

Its pretty neat stuff my daughter did one for an engineering project years ago in college for a orchid. She passed the class but still killed the plant. Kid had black thumbs.
