Just had 10 years this sunday since my buddy passed and it's more about life not death.

Ya I assumed replacing and fixing properly was best bet! That will require knowing how to solder tho won’t it?
It's really easy! I was soldering with my Dad when I was 5 years old.
Clean clean clean
Heat the fitting you want the solder to flow into.
 
Last time I soldered something was high school :crying: But I'm pretty confident I can totally do that. Think I even have an iron around here somewhere. So cut the water and drain the pipes, then solder the hole? How long to let it set before turning the water on?
