I do not know the effect of adding lactobacillus to soil directly, Something in that state of natural decay would be in the compost pile in my garden.

Compost bin would be the safe assumption! From my readings today, you can dilute pure lactobacillus 1 oz pure lactose serum to one gallon of water with the lactose made from a rice wash and whole milk mixture. Apparently, you get farmers cheese with it too!

It's basically a form of what EM 1, Build A Soil Yahweh, and other inoculants are made of. To stabilize it for long term storage, sugars/molasses is added. Most prefab products also contain a humic component as well.

Figure I can cook up my own and a little Full Power. Being fresh, in most cases is better than store bought...
