I’ve done both with same result. Ran it 24 hours for the constant heat til sprout then switched and also had one go straight to 16/8 schedule with no difference. However I would suggest weaning off the paper towel method

Thanks! I know, i hear that alot around here but It works 100% of the time. What should I be doing instead? Talk to me, I'm all ears! I do get why the paper towel method "can" damage the seedling but I've yet to experience any negative results doing it that way.
