My seeded Bloodstone maidens are getting quite ugly, but fat with ripening seeds.

For anyone, at what point do I go ahead and chop the plant?

I'd check the seeds and when they look mature, I'd chop. I've never grown a seeded plant, but I have read that in order to get good seeds sometimes you gotta keep the plant going past when the flowers are ready for chop.

Morning Kittens....been real chilly past 2 mornings ( for Florida anyways ) having a hell of a time with joint and muscle pain. Can't get an appointment till after 1st of the year but Dr. thinks it's side effects from the Losartin but wants me to continue taking it and trying to manage pain with tylenol till he can try a different BP med.

I kept checking seed looks. After finding the first one that looked mature I waited another week or so then chopped. Had about 10% that looked immature when I sorted.
