Wow, I fed us and a couple other friends with only 5 plants. Oops indeed, I will only do 3 next summer.

Ha, well...one year i started a bunch and took cuts of those, since i started them so early and they got bigly. Had damn tomato plants all over the house, including on top of the cupboards. So, honey took out a bunch and planted. The wind killed em. So, he takes out another batch. They got frosted. So he took out the last bunch and i forget what got those, late blizzard or something. Ended up having to buy tomato plants from a greenhouse. We just never know!

Nope. Just me learning how to grow in hydro, man.

Most of what I've read said to shoot for 1200 ppm, but I backed the Zkittelz off to about 1000.

I can't find a whole lot of DWC info for autos online, so its mostly been me experimenting. I will back the PPMs down.



I've noticed. I was starting to wonder what I'd done to piss you off.



So I've been using Masterblend, which has an A and a B liquid.

A is the fertilizer + Epsom Salt

B is Calcium Nitrate, which is all the nitrogen.

So you are suggesting I back off the Calcium Nitrate a bit when in bloom?

Right now I mix 10ml of each to a gallon, which is the same mix I used for my tomatoes in the summer and what was putting me right at 1200 ppm.

Sounds like I should drop to about 7-8ml per gallon, and then when in bloom, drop to about 5-6ml of the Nitrogen?

I removed a gallon of water from all the buckets at 1200ppm and put in fresh water with no nutrients. Now we're around 900 to 1000.

I'm using tap water, which already has a ton of calcium in it. If I was using RO water, I'd definitely look into that.

I'll run up to 1000ppm but I also do feed, feed, water schedule. During plain water, I make sure to get a solid amount of runoff to help push out some of the leftover salts.

But are you in coco? From some reason I thought you were in peat

I max out my feed around 750ppm

Same for me most the time 650 is plenty but some girls want a little more (500 scale)



I believe @Cerebral Goo has experience running those master blend nutes in coco but I’m not for sure

yeah, I did some googling and found other growers using masterblend and DWC saying 600 to 750 was a good range.

I'm gonna back off on the nutes and only feed about half the strength of what I was before and see how she goes.

I got 6oz off the last auto I grew with this, but it was pretty burnt looking towards the end.

Ah, you're right. Forgot the no plain water rule with coco. It's been a while since I've run a coco pot.

Hmmm, so this is interesting. I've never measured the PPM of my tap water.

230ppm from the tap

225ppm from my inline filter.

But the crazy thing is, if I use the filter, I only have to add 3ml of PH Down to 5 gallons of water.

If I don't, I have to add 3ml of ph down to one gallon of water.

What are you soaking your seeds in?

I have started using a few drops of kelp extract in some distilled water.

Hello stoners. How’s it going today?
When I bought Sundae Thumper and a couple of her crosses Mephisto gave me 10 free Alien vs Triangle x 3 BOG. I initially thought they were just AVTs and was excited. Then I realized they were the cross and was a little disappointed. After reading here this morning maybe I’ll grow 1 coming up.
